I've just found and purchased a Canon EOS 5D 12.8 MP Digital SLR Camera with EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens thru Amazon - $2599 for both! Or, just the body.

USA REBATES start May 18 (Sunday)

Now, for full disclosure, those links include an affiliate link which gives me a 4% commission for your purchase. A great deal for you and a good deal for me.

More about the Wiki

This community "Wiki" has been set up for you - a central place for information that this community can share about MicroStock Photography. It has all sorts of information and resources contributed by you! I (Mitch Aunger) started this Wiki because I had information and links that I wanted to save, and yet didn't have any logical place to put them. It started growing and growing so I thought maybe everyone else could share what they've found to be helpful. If you do have something that I haven't found and you'll make the time to learn how to contribute and help everyone else by sharing your information. There may be a bit of advertising, but those are only there to help support the site.

Unlike most "informational" sites that are managed by one person or company, this community resource is a living, breathing website (called a Wiki) - totally open and updatable by the community. It isn't just one person's data, it is everyone's data. If you feel you have something you can contribute, then take a few moments to learn about how to update the information in this Wiki and then add your information. The developers of this Wiki software have created a User's Guide to help you learn. Please remember, clicking on links takes you to other sites that have information, so when you're finished reading, come back here (user your browser's "back" button) to do your updating :)

The intention of this website is to contain information and/or links to information that is available on the web... it isn't a place to "chat" but there are links to some great "discussion" sites about photography and microstock on the Websites page. There are "discussion" tabs on the top of every page in this Wiki - there you can post 'discussion' about the data that is contained on one of the webpages.

Please don't copy text from a website and just paste it in here, there are copyright issues as well as maintenance issues, so it is best to just post a link to that information (notice how other's have created links when you EDIT a page, just copy what they did and replace their links with yours - or read the User's Guide). You're welcome to put in your own helpful tips and ideas etc. And, don't forget there are 'discussion' pages available for each page on the site (notice the tabs at the top of this page - if the word Discussion is blue, then there's some comments about the page already in there - if it is red, then nobody's said anything yet).

If you're concerned about doing editing, you can play in the Sandbox page which is designed for people to get in and get their hands 'dirty' so to speak and learn how to update the Wiki. Please read the disclaimer on the bottom of this page as well.

Hope you enjoy and learn and contribute to this site!

Please create a user account and then use your page to tell everyone more about you! Notice once you log in, in the upper right corner there are links to edit your preferences and to update the page everyone sees with information you want to share about yourself.

How To Use This Wiki

  • Use the navigation on the left side to get around
  • Use the "search" feature that is also in the left navigation
  • The 'community navigation' section is general stuff about the wiki and this community
  • When you're ready, find something you can contribute and read the manual (shown below) to learn how to add information and links etc.

Also, please do not put any copyrighted information here - if it is on another site, then just place a link to that site here - that way the original information retains the copyrights of the writer (and a side benefit any updates to the other sites will not have to be tracked and updated here as well).

Please see the User's Guide for usage help.
